Black Dog Brew Co was born and bred in Wellington. It started as a small experimental brew lab to test boundaries, and has grown to become a big, bold new breed craft brewery that still refuses to conform to the norms.
With growing popularity, Black Dog needed to create a core family of beers, along with a range of speciality one-offs. Each capturing the spirit of Black Dog Brew Co.
The feel is a mash up, top and tailing two breeds smashing together different characters to create a style that's a rebel.
An eclectic identity with a mix of black and white graphic styles that exude attitude, energy and excitement, and enable colour to come through in the beer products sold in store.
It's a dog's life in a human world. All characterised. A growing litter of Black Dog characters.
